When you have pcos and your periods are regular can you concieve natrually without medications?

I got dignosised with PCOS last year with ultrasounds and blood tests confirming it,I have had my periods regular for the last 8 months and i have a fiance and we have being trying for a baby for about 6 months now, are we doing something wrong because we have sex all the time.

The thing you have to remember about the reproductive system is that periods and ovulation don’t necessarily go hand in hand. When it comes to PCOS, most women have irregular periods not due to a lack of ovulation, but because all our hormones are messed up so it effects our periods too. It’s important for us to have periods because if we don’t, the uterine lining builds and decays inside us and can become precancerous. (The women who use BC pills to only have periods a few times a year are fine because the medicine keeps them from building the lining.)
So, yes, it’s a good thing you are having regular periods. It indicates that your hormones are at least balancing some. But, you still may not be ovulating. Seeing as how you do have periods, perhaps you just have a mild case of PCOS. You’d probably have a lot of success on the medication metformin. It helps straighten out the hormones, and many women with PCOS ovulate on it (like me).
I don’t know what your aversion to a medicine is, but if you want a baby, you may just need some help. You could only use it long enough to get pregnant maybe? At least it’s not expensive like IVF. Good luck.
even am going to try out ayurvedic since have pcos and had 3 unsuccesful iuis.am not going further since i think that it is spoiling my health by taking injections and medicines.atleast with ayurved i wont spoil my life having side effects.pcos is hormonal imbalance.since u have regular periods keep trying.its said that if u only have pcos and regular cycles u can conceive within 4 yrs of trying all the bst
That is great that you have your periods regular now- that is the first step! I hope you have been tracking your periods every month. Do they start and end at about the same time? You need to have sex during your most fertile days. Once you know when those days are, THAT is when you want to have the most sex.
