I was told by an IVF specialist that symptoms of PCOS can also arrise in men/males.
She didnt explain how or what exactly, but I find it very hard to believe that men could suffer any symtoms of PCOS, as they do not have ovaries.
Does anyone know any better than I do?

| "Have You Seen Lisa Olson's new Pregnancy System yet? It's called "Pregnancy Miracle" I've read the whole thing (all 250 pages) and there's some great information in there about how to naturally get pregnant without drugs, surgery or any kind of gimmicks. I highly recommend it - it's very honest and straightforward without all the hype and b.s. you see all over the net these days. Well, I guess they could be overweight, and have excessive facial hair, and male pattern baldness. Oh, and not get their periods. LOL
PCOS is a problem in women. Men can have their hormones out of whack (which is what causes PCOS), but that doesn’t mean they have PCOS. It means their hormones are out of balance, which would cause other problems in men.
I guess that’s the problem, is that if a man’s hormones are out of balance, it would affect HIS fertility. But it’s a HUGE stretch to say that a man has symptoms of PCOS. Because most symptoms of PCOS are those that cause women to tend to be more masculine than they would like (due to excessive male hormones). If that were the case with men, I don’t think they’d notice…..??
They can get some of the same symptoms-belly fat, labile blood sugars, infertility problems, facial hair, irritability, etc.-but it sure as hell isn’t from PCOS-they have no ovaries!
