What is the most effective medication to take with PCOS?
I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, and as I know it is manageable it’s been really hard for me to deal with since we want a baby badly. My doctor put me on the pill, Desogen, to help me get my period regulated to being with. I’ve never heard of this "brand" and I didn’t know if anyone else had any info on it?
Also can anyone tell me what they were put on when diagnosed? And what they did to increase their fertility? Thank you.

| "Have You Seen Lisa Olson's new Pregnancy System yet? It's called "Pregnancy Miracle" I've read the whole thing (all 250 pages) and there's some great information in there about how to naturally get pregnant without drugs, surgery or any kind of gimmicks. I highly recommend it - it's very honest and straightforward without all the hype and b.s. you see all over the net these days. Here's the website where you can get more information: Click Here --> Pregnancy Miracle |

Change your Diet. Women with PCOS are at a higher risk for diabetes. Correct diet is essential. If you are overweight and lose just 5% of your total body weight, you will see decreased insulin levels, increased fertility, and less acne. You will also lower your chances of developing diabetes and heart disease. You should consider lowering your intake of carbohydrates and replacing processed carbohydrates with whole wheat, beans, and brown rice.
I have a friend that just had a baby and she had such bad PCOS they told her she might not be able to ever have kids. I haven’t heard of Desogen, but really all birth control pills essentially work the same way and have very similar drugs in them so you’re probably fine there.
I believe they put my friend on clomid to encourage her body to ovulate.
Best of luck to you!
