I have been diagnosed with PCOS, but I still don’t know all of the details, but when I was looking on google for some information I noticed that the ribbons for pcos awareness are the same color as the ones for ovarian cancer. Are the two linked? Does PCOS lead to ovarian cancer?

| "Have You Seen Lisa Olson's new Pregnancy System yet? It's called "Pregnancy Miracle" I've read the whole thing (all 250 pages) and there's some great information in there about how to naturally get pregnant without drugs, surgery or any kind of gimmicks. I highly recommend it - it's very honest and straightforward without all the hype and b.s. you see all over the net these days. They aren’t sure at this time. PCOS does cause the cysts on your ovaries but they haven’t had any studies show that it is linked with ovarian cancer. Sometimes they just run out of colors so they will use the same color for more than 1 illness. I went to a website that had 5 things listed for some of the colors and none of them were linked. I will say the OBGYN that diagnosed me with PCOS was honest with me and told me that they are studying the link with Ovarian, Uterine and Breast Cancers because of the hormone risks and the cysts on the ovaries and the irregular periods but that no link has been found yet. They have found that having the Cysts surgically removed which they use to do often, increases the risks of ovarian cancer. Another thing PCOS puts you at higher risk for is heart problems and diabetes according to studies done.
im not sure research it??
ovarian cancer is just that cancer, where as PCOS, which i have also, is all about cysts forming over your egg follicles preventing the release of an egg which then prevents you from getting pregnant or having a period. which is good for me right now, but not the future. the ribbons could be the same color due to the fact that that particular color may just be the color they use in reference to ovaries, and my doctor never said anything about it leading to cancer and i’m sure she would have.
PCOS is cysts on your ovaries but they arent cancerous. They go away on there own. It messes with your periods, and causes infertility in alot of women. There are things that your dr can do to regulate your period like metiformin. And clomid to help you ovulate. I hope i answered your question and good luck!!!
my sister has pcos. she tried to conceive for 12 years and never did. her and her husband done the invitro. and now she has a healthy son that is now 6 years old. so never give up on conceiving, it will happen when the time is right. if money is the problem with the invitro. you can get a job with the state and the state pay the biggest majority of it. thats what my sister did.
