Pcos???????????????

This is probably a stupid question but i honestly dont know and i got asked if i was this, PCOS. Obviously I am not or i would know what it is but i was just curious what this is. Thanks and no rude remarks please.
i am pretty sure i dont have this cuz i have already had one child. My doctor just thinks it is my ovulation is off track.

PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome. The main symptoms are: acne, obesity, irregular or no periods, and male-pattern hair growth like your chin, breasts, or back.
PCOS is Poycistic ovarian disease. In a nut shell it is when a women’s periods are not regular, her egg sits on top of her ovaries and turns into cysts. It is hard for someone with this to get pregnant, and it is not a fun hing to have! I would know because I have had it for 19 years. But I am a lucky one I have 2 beautiful daughter and a son on the way with no help needed.
Stands for Polycystic ovarian syndrome. It’s a hormonal disorde characterized by a woman developing numerous cysts on her ovaries (usually instead of releasing eggs). women with PCOS have varying symptoms. The most common are irregular or absent periods (indicating no ovulation), excessive hair growth (from too much testosterone), and weight gain (it kills our metabolism).
It’s one of the leading causes of infertility in women, although not all women with PCOS have trouble conceiving.
P.C.O.S. (PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome). It is a female hormone imbalance and often goes unnoticed. It can affect in 10 women. Symptoms vary which is why it often goes undiagnosed. Symptoms can include: infertility, male pattern baldness, excessive facial hair growth, acne, obesity (not linked to other causes such as lifestyle or glandular problems), and lipid abnormality. Begins at onset of menstruation in early puberty. Diagnosis includes blood tests for a variety of potential abnormalities in various hormonal levels as well as a gynecological pelvic exam. Treatments can include: lifestyle changes, weight loss, progestins, oral contraceptives, anti-androgens, GnRH Analogs, surgical therapy, and/or fertility therapy with fertility drugs. Treatment is dependent on symptoms and hormonal levels. Shouldn’t interfere with daily life, but will affect menstrual cycle and ability to reproduce. Talk to your doc. if you have more than 2 of the symptoms and go from there. Good luck.
You could have this and not know it. After I got pregnant and had an ultrasound at 5 weeks, I was asked if I was ever told I had this. I hadn’t and I might have a mild case. I did not have symptoms of this and my cycles were always regular. I see others have given you answers on what this is so I won’t get into that too. I am now 35 weeks pregnant.
It looks like others have answered what PCOS is. I just wanted to say that you can get pregnant and still have PCOS. A lot of women do not get diagnosed until their 2nd time trying to conceive. Hope that helps!!
