yes i have pcos for 7monts now and am going to see a specialest in may so am very happy about that.i have two packet of pills left so i asked my docter do i need more and she said just take that what you have.metformin 500mg 3 times a day.am really want to have baby maybe the specailist wil help me.

I’ve had PCOS for 6 yrs, and I’m 11 wks pregnant. It’s possible, but it was defidently harder… Good luck..
I have pcos too, I concieved my 1st child naturally, however took me over a yr and I couldnt concieve my 2nd – I was sent to a specialist and prescribed metformin – 1 pill a day week 1, 2 pills a day week 2, 3 pills a day week 3 and 4 pills a day week 4. Within 3 weeks I fell pregnant and had to stop the metformin.
Metformin doesnt work for everyone – Clomid is an option too.

i’ve had it since i was about 17 and it got worse over the yrs. and i ended up gaining about 30 lbs b/c of it. i too was also put on metiformin @ 500mg 3 times and it made me sick and felt like i was sick all of the time. i was also on birth control and spirolactone ( it keeps your testosterone from becoming too potent). the dr. told me that being on the pill anywhere from 3 to 4 months should clear up my ovaries and i should be able to concieve any time after that if i wanted. i was on all of that for about a yr. then decided to try for another, i already have a 7 yr. old, and it took 2 weeks after my last per. and now i am 19 weeks prego! the funny thing is that my fiance’s chances of having kids were 50% or less! so i consider our childeren maricles! good luck!
