It's called "Pregnancy Miracle" I've read the whole thing (all 250 pages) and there's some great information in there about how to naturally get pregnant without drugs, surgery or any kind of gimmicks. I highly recommend it - it's very honest and straightforward without all the hype and b.s. you see all over the net these days. Hey girl… i also have pcos i am actually the only person known to have an allergic reaction to metformin so my life is just that bit harder…but dont get discouraged… i am 25 and TTC. i was preggo before but that ended in m/c i am confident it will happenagain…. i know our periods suck more then anything and i more then understand about wanting a baby.. its like everywhere you turn there is babies and pregnant people…everyone seems to share good news with you but you dont have any to send…..i get it 100% but always feel free to msg me for support anytime..
PCOS can be a pain can’t it. It may just be taking your body longer to adjust to the metformin. Are your periods getting back to normal? If not I would mention to the dr that you are concerned the metformin isn’t working. While met is a great drug for PCOS it doesn’t work for everyone. Good luck
Metformin on its own didn’t work for me – I also have PCOS. I had to use Metformin and Clomid to ovulate. You might want to talk to your doctor about how much you would like a baby and discuss the possibility of using Clomid. Good luck!
Well, I have PCOS as well, diangoned almost 6 years ago and trying more than 5 years. Metformin has not done anything to regulate my periods.
Each woman id different and it depends on the severity of your symptoms. At 1500 mg you are at the typical dose for PCOS. ASk your Dr. about moving forward to help force your periods with Provera. Provera will bring on your period but you may or may not ovulate in a provera induced cycle. There is a possibility that you may need further assistance with Clomid to aid in ovulation.
Best to you!
