I have PCOS and have heard that birth control pills may enhance your fertility for the first few months after stopping them. Has anyone else with PCOS heard this or experienced this firsthand? Also, I’ve read that conceving right after stopping the pill may increase your chances for miscarriage? Is this true?

I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor prescribed me meds to help ovulate but I didnt ask if they will help with the hair. He prescibed Metformin and Bromocriptin. I’m afraid to shave it bc I dont want to do it for the rest of my life. Does anyone have any other solutions?

I started taking 1st round of clomid CD3-CD7 and was wondering how do I know when I am O, since I have PCOS OPT are always Pos. Any Suggestions?

Well basically i have PCOS and i am TTC. One month i have a 28 day cycle, the next month i have 36 next 38 next 29 etc. Does this mean i have less chance of concieving?

Say someone conceived all naturally with their first baby with no help or problems at all, & then they had trouble ttc#2 due to PCOS, how common is that with #2? or the people that are diagnosed with PCOS they havent had a baby yet have they?

PCOS can cause depression and I’m trying to do this without medication. Dr. put me on medication due to depo provera injection causing me to feel down and having 1 suicidal thought but I am now on the pill and find I’m very irritable and cranky all the time more so now than before children. [...]

I was told by an IVF specialist that symptoms of PCOS can also arrise in men/males.
She didnt explain how or what exactly, but I find it very hard to believe that men could suffer any symtoms of PCOS, as they do not have ovaries.
Does anyone know any better than I do?
