I have PCOS and i take Metformin..How long did the medicine take before you had a period?

I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 months ago and before i started taking the medicine i had a period on my own and now i have been taking metformin for 2 months and haven’t had a period yet…Im not overweight and my doctor never told me to change my diet or anything so im wondering if anyone has the same situation and if maybe changing my diet may help with regulating my period?

I would start eating things high in folic acid… Children cereal’s have a lot of the things that could help you conceive… Im not sure how to chance the regularity of your cycles though.
I found out I had pcos a few years ago. We started trying for a baby about a year ago. We went through all the test to make sure my husband was okay. Once we found out he was okay we started talking about treatment my doctor wanted me to try metformin for a few months and to exercice and lose 10 lbs I’m not over weight I don’t have all the symptoms of pcos. I was on metformin for 2 months and the next month I got pregnant. I’m only 6 weeks now. I’m worried of miscarriage. Because we are high risk! You can get pregnant just with metformin. I bought the ovulation test online and tested every day and ovulated on day 21. Good luck to you! Stay positive it will happen!
