I would like to know if I can get pregnant while on BC. With PCOS I have to take it or my period will not end. If I miss a pill my period drops right back down. Would Clomid help me any?

| "Have You Seen Lisa Olson's new Pregnancy System yet? It's called "Pregnancy Miracle" I've read the whole thing (all 250 pages) and there's some great information in there about how to naturally get pregnant without drugs, surgery or any kind of gimmicks. I highly recommend it - it's very honest and straightforward without all the hype and b.s. you see all over the net these days. Here's the website where you can get more information: Click Here --> Pregnancy Miracle |

that was what i did in high school. and they put me on the pill, so that it would regulate itself out. And then i lost weigh( 30 lbs) and it regulated itself out. PCOS really has a lot to do with weight. it causes weight gain, which causes hormone problems, which causes more weight gain! YIKES! its like a never ending circle!
it stayed regular from about 2 years ( which is the same amount of time i kept the weight off)
My husband and i had been trying to get pregnant for the last year, when i was finally diagnosed with PCOS. at which i weighed a lot more than high school. And my periods just stopped. But nw i have lost 33 lbs, and my periods are just atarting to start again. -never thought i would be happy for cramping-…
so my advice to you, is that if you are overweight, then lose some. even losing 10-15 lbs can GREATLY regulate your periods, and will improve your health for you, and the future baby. Second, go see your doc. They will send you to your OBGYN, who will send you to the reproductive doctores. ( unfortunitly, you usually have to go threw the process). they will help you, weather it be diet and exercise, or it be metformin, or clomid. But if you ARE overweight, they will NOT NOT NOT give you the meds until you are in a healthy weight range ( healthy meaning for you and the baby) Hope this helps1
I read your question and I understand your frustration, my dear.
Believe it or not, my husband and I tried to conceive for more than 8-months. We tried to refrain from sex for days and even weeks but it didn’t help.
Worst part is, there were empty hopes – I thought I was pregnant but in the end I wasn’t. It’s really frustrating and I understand that.
I was in Yahoo Answers and in this section quite some time ago and I ask a question similar to yours and a person recommended me a book. It’s entitled "Getting Pregnant Bible". I swear it’s like a gift from God!
It teaches stuffs like the seven things you need to do before even you try to get pregnant to ensure a healthy pregnancy; the appropriate diet to conceive; how to increase your husband’s sperm count; the ovulation cycle and many others!
I am already having my 4th child now! I really recommend that you try reading this book out. Also, they are currently giving free bonus books like fertility secrets and choosing your baby gender! It’s for a limited time only!

clomid helps you ovulate but does not stop periods you should try femaprin vitex extract it helps regulate your cycle and brings on ovulation so that you can get pregnant
Being on the pill isn’t curing your PCOS, it is only masking the symptoms. You may need to see a specialist who can help you get your hormones in balance.
I’m not a doctor, I’m not a specialist, I’m just a lady who has always had hormone problems, and I’m a little cynical about doctors today. My opinion is that they just prescribe the pill for about every female ill. It doesn’t solve the problem, and can actually cause more problems.
I would recommend that you seek some "alternative" ways to help get your hormones back in balance. Do some research on wild yam cream, Syringa is a good company, but there are many others. There are also many herbs you can use to help get your cycles going properly. I also highly recommend a really healthy diet, plenty of pure water, and gentle exercise, especially if your weight is an issue. A really good book is "Lean & Free 2000 Plus" by Dana Thornock, you can get it used on amazon.com for under $5.
It is possible to get pregnant, but you’re going to have educate yourself about all your options, and advocate for yourself. Because obviously being on the pill to "regulate your periods" isn’t very conducive to getting pregnant.
Good luck!
I have PCOS and I bled like 6 months in a row, everyday all day! My doctor put me on provera for 2 months and now everything is fine.
