How many doctors/healthcare professionals have misdiagnosed your PCOS or don’t know much about it?

Just wondering how many doctors/healthcare professionals are aware of PCOS and giving the right treatments.
I first went to my local GP 11years ago describing symptoms of PCOS. But only got diagnosed 3 years ago when I just happened to mention it to my Gynaecologist (Australia). Wondering how many others are in my situation.

| "Have You Seen Lisa Olson's new Pregnancy System yet? It's called "Pregnancy Miracle" I've read the whole thing (all 250 pages) and there's some great information in there about how to naturally get pregnant without drugs, surgery or any kind of gimmicks. I highly recommend it - it's very honest and straightforward without all the hype and b.s. you see all over the net these days. Here's the website where you can get more information: Click Here --> Pregnancy Miracle |

I AM IN EXACTLY THE SAME SITUATION.
I’ve just been diagnosed at age 26 – but I had concerns from the age of 15 when I had acne and irregular periods.
I had been on the pill from age 18-26 and it was me that decided to go off the pill to see whether my periods were still irregular!
It turns out I have PCOS! Lucky I didn’t wait another 5 years and then realise I have it because at least I have some years to try fertility treatment to have a family.
Doctors are all care and no responsibility.
Every GYN MD should be knowledgeable about PCOS
its been widely talked about since the early to mid 80’s in Nursing school programs
best known as stein leventhal syndrome
