I just got prescribed Metformin for treatment of PCOS? If you are also taking Metformin how quickly did you see results from Metformin? Either return of cycles or decrease in symptoms of PCOS? Or even weight loss? Thanks in advance!

It's called "Pregnancy Miracle" I've read the whole thing (all 250 pages) and there's some great information in there about how to naturally get pregnant without drugs, surgery or any kind of gimmicks. I highly recommend it - it's very honest and straightforward without all the hype and b.s. you see all over the net these days. Weight loss became a nightmare for me until I tried colon cleanse. I acknowledge they say that pills don’t work, nevertheless they definitely worked for me, and they have been featured on CBS News too. There is a free trial happening right now at http://sinelt.hotbodydiet.info , give it a try, what is the worst that could happen?
my fiancee has PCOS and was prescribed Metformin.
she almost immediately noticed less hunger between meals, and less symptoms from low blood sugar. now, she can have 3 regular meals, with a minor snack about halfway between breakfast and lunch, and between lunch and dinner, usually, and be perfectly fine. where before, she’d have to eat more, more frequently to not get substantial negative effects.
this effect was nearly immediate, and if she misses her met, she gets hungry noticably more than if she takes it properly.
this, both directly(being ABLE to eat less, and better without getting sick) and indirectly gave very quick(as in, within the first month or two) gave some very noticable help with losing weight. and while it hasn’t STAYED like it was at first, its still not nearly as bad as it was before the metformin.
next appointment she’ll probably be looking to get her dosage upped, actually, because compared to people shes talked to online, she is on a relatively low dose, and the last time they upped it, had another increase in effectiveness.
can’t testify regarding cycles, as she had to have a partial hysterectomy before she got on the metformin (due to extreme consequences of the PCOS being unadressed, and going very badly). her non-bleeding cycle-related symptoms are still very irregular, sometimes every 2 weeks, sometimes waiting a month or more between their showing up.
but it definitely helps with the weight issues, as I said, and for her, theres no side effects (at first, when she was first getting used to it, had some stomach trouble, but not severe, and it went away pretty quick)
