I had a miscarriage in November and have PCOS. We have been trying for nearly 2 years and have been on Metformin for 4 months.
What are your experiences with Metformin and when you were at your most fertile?

| "Have You Seen Lisa Olson's new Pregnancy System yet? It's called "Pregnancy Miracle" I've read the whole thing (all 250 pages) and there's some great information in there about how to naturally get pregnant without drugs, surgery or any kind of gimmicks. I highly recommend it - it's very honest and straightforward without all the hype and b.s. you see all over the net these days. sorry to hear about your miscarriage i too have pcos and was prescibed metformin this i know is given too people with diabetes ii think it was given too me to help me lose a little weight as women with pcos tend to put on weight for no reason the side effects were stomach cramps and constantly going to the loo i think you should ask your doctor to take clomid along with the metformin clomid makes the body produce better quality eggs and eggs that are fertile too that means that they can grow to a large ml for example before taking clomid my eggs were measured by an internal scan at only 7ml but with clomid i managed a whopping 19ml egg so i think you should take the clomid too i hope this has helped you will also find you are fertile on day 12 to 15 after your period do the ovulation kit where you wee on to the sticks and this will tell you the two days you are most fertile.good luck.
I have PCOS and My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant again for the last few years and it has happened and I’m on metformin and so far nothing has happened. I can never tell what my most fertile days are. But then again I barely have my period to be honest with you and I’m only 25. To be honest the metformin isn’t doing anything for me I don’t think.
Talk to your dr. about adding Clomid to your Metformin regimen. It worked for me.
