Because money really doesn’t grow on trees, isn’t it nice to get free samples of products? There is so much to choose from but the problem that I’ve always had has been finding the time to visit all the sites to get name brand product samples. There is so much to choose from:

The big one on my list has always been dental product samples. With three kids, toothbrushes fly off the counter and toothpaste is always sought after.

free-product-samplesI’ve managed to get toothbrushes sent out to me as my kids were growing. It was simple – visit the companies website and enquire about their products. They would gladly send out samples to me and give me coupons to buy their products at tremendous discounts! Imagine being able to buy a toothbrush that retails for $5.00 on sale and then an additional discount through the use of their coupon. I was able to buy brand name toothbrushes and dental products for almost nothing.

Using product samples, I was probably able to save about $500 per year on my grocery bill.

free-makeup-samplesBut once I had my second, and third child – time was in short supply. It wasn’t as easy to get onto the computer and look for quality samples or coupons that were good. What I got in the mail was what the companies were trying to sell in my demographic. If there were no young children, that meant no coupons for diapers or other baby products.

Then I found a few websites that allowed me to get free samples of products, like beauty product samples by giving them an e-mail address and filling out a short form. I don’t have time for forms, and was a little hesitant to complete them but then I spoke to a friend at a drop-in play date at my local community center and she showed me the coupons she received and the types of products that she was getting… well, my mind was made up.

Once we were done, I headed straight home and started looking for the services I had seen and subscribed to a few of them. Today I get all the samples I need, and by filling out the surveys I get exactly what I need. No more samples of beauty products or hair care products that I will never use – only things that my family and I will use and great coupons to go with them.

"Have You Seen Lisa Olson's new Pregnancy System yet?
