Can I get pregnant with the PCOS disorder?

Hello, I know alot about PCOS and was diagnosed with it in March,2006.At the time I was diagnosed I had been married for about 4 months.Still yet I had not had my period since about September,2005 and so in march I started my metphormin and birth control to help regulate this disease.I had gained alot of weight due to this problem and being that I’m only 18 and married I was determined to get my life back so that I could have kids.So since then I lost almost 75 pounds and I went off my birth control in late July and have been having regular periods ever since. Is it possible I can keep on having regular periods and get pregnant soon?Is there any other fertility tricks such as certain herbs or remidies I could try to help out? Also I would love to hear from people who have overcame this and went on to have kids.Thank you so much and wish me the best of luck.

an ultrasound showed i had many follicles in the ovaries. i have also had very oily skin and acne since my teen years that just won’t go away. my doctor doesnt seem concerned, he doesn’t think it’s PCOS since i’m skinny and don’t have high blood pressure or diabetes or anything. so what else could it be?
there was also a little fluid in my pelvic cavity. dr said ruptured cyst?

I have PCOS and have a VERY difficult time trying to lose the weight on my own. Is there a good diet that women with PCOS should follow. I am very active, I play sports and exercise regularly!

Do you know or know of anyone who has PCOS and has conceived a baby with no medications or any help whatsoever? Just naturally?

My husband & I are not trying yet as we still have a bit of financial work but deep inside some part of me always kind of hope it might just happen for us. Sometimes it takes a toll on the spirit as I fear that we won’t be able to when we are ready. I would really love to hear some ideas of how you wonderful women with PCOS have dealt with the constant disappointment of just "not being pregnant yet".

Thank you.
